Rodrigo spilled some of her makeup and beauty tips in a video for Vogue. She says that while she loves putting on makeup, it isn't the most important part of her beauty routine. Rodrigo tells Vogue that she keeps her makeup simple most of the time. She says that she doesn't put a lot on, and goes for a more natural look. "I think the biggest thing I've learned in makeup is less is more, especially with me. Just accentuating your natural features is always the move and always when I feel the most confident."
When Rodrigo is choosing makeup products, she likes to pick ones that help her skin and face. She says to Vogue that she likes to use a lip product that helps moisturize her lips. "I'm gonna use this Glossier Ultra Lip. The Ultralip has hyaluronic acid in it, which is great. It keeps your lips moisturized, which is very important to me.
Rodrigo has amazing hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. She spilled some of her hair secrets to Vogue. "Dry shampoo is very important to me because I have the most oily hair and especially with the [face] masks. Sometimes, I'll have a mask and sunglasses on and the only thing that you can see is the hair."
Rodrigo is not afraid to speak out about causes that are important to her. Last year, she visited President Biden to help spread the importance of COVID-19 vaccines. After Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, Rodrigo voiced her disapproval during her Glastonbury Festival performance. She said, "I'm devastated and terrified. So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this."
