Chris Pratt & Katherine Schwarzenegger finally announced their engagement

I’ve been on Chris Pratt Engagement Watch for months. It was a pretty boring Engagement Watch, because anyone could put the pieces together that Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger were in it for the long haul. Just months into their relationship, they already seemed to be settling down. They’re both religious and family-oriented and she spends time with his son and frankly, I could already see the next twenty years of their life together.

Well, as it turns out, the timeline I predicted was dead-on. He must have proposed to her around Christmas or the New Year, and he chose to announce the engagement on his social media last night. What else did I predict? A summer wedding and a quick pregnancy afterwards. Truly, I think they’re a great match. There’s an age difference – he’s 39, she’s 29 – but other than that, they complement each other perfectly. I predict that she’ll become a lifestyle brand or something to do with moms or kids or cookbooks. She’ll happily be a Hollywood wife and attend all of his events too. They make so much sense together. Congrats to them!
